Harbord Diggers Prepares to Roll Out Stage 2 Fitness, Health & Wellbeing Facilities
Stage Two of the Harbord Diggers redevelopment will be unveiled next week, with an exciting new community of fitness, health and wellbeing providers ready to open their doors.
The next step in Harbord Diggers’ evolution involves a high-quality selection of innovative operators dedicated to meeting personal needs with a state-of-the-art new fitness facility, GFitness Freshwater leading the charge.
GFitness Freshwater will be like no other gym on the Northern Beaches with the new facilities including a reformer studio, mind & body studio, group exercise room, aqua aerobics, kinesis strength zone and onsite crèche, whilst boasting over 110 group exercise programs across their weekly timetable.
Also opening this month is two of the first operators in the Health and Wellbeing precinct, Beaches Baby and Rebound Health.
Beaches Baby is a unique parents’ support network offering baby and toddler activity classes, parenting support groups, prenatal education and topical workshops.
Rebound Health will be supporting the local community by providing physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and Veterans Health Programs to help improve the health of the Northern Beaches one client at a time. As part of the Exercise Right for Active Ageing Program, Rebound Health has also been awarded a grant to run two programs a week for local seniors.
“The start of Stage Two openings next week represents the further realisation of our ambition to create a fully integrated community and lifestyle club,” said Harbord Diggers General Manager Michael Phillips.
“Being part of a wider precinct offering excellent cuisine, a friendly space to meet, and a packed weekly program of entertainment options will only enhance the experience of all customers who frequent our Stage Two facilities,” he added.
Stage Two will begin trading from Monday 5 August, when Beaches Baby commences its trial week of classes and specialist programs for mums, dads, and grandparents.
