School Holiday Entertainment Galore for Little Diggers

Offering entertainment and fun for all ages, the new Harbord Diggers has announced an exciting calendar of school holiday activities this summer.
Every day from 7 January to 27 January will be a kids’ extravaganza at the Diggers. From freaky science shows to the cutest craft workshops, Diggers has attracted Sydney’s best childrens’ acts and entertainers to give parents some much-need down time.
“We pride ourselves on being Sydney’s premier intergenerational venue,” said Harbord Diggers General Manager, Michael Phillips.
“The summer school holidays is traditionally when families spend more time together. Our schedule of kids shows, activities and workshops means there will be something for everyone to enjoy whenever they visit in January.”
Aside from kid’s discos, face painting, garden games and a KindiFarm with baby animals, Harbord Diggers has organised special science workshops for budding scientists as well as art and craft workshops from Little Lane Workshops.
“Kids are very inquisitive so we thought let’s mix fun with science with our friends at Fizzics Education who are running three holiday workshops - Digging Dinosaurs for budding palaeontologists, a Liquid Nitrogen workshop for those wanting to discover wonders of explosions and finally a Light and Colour Show that covers everything on illumination,” added Mr Phillips.
“Jack Sharp is also coming back to the Beaches with his magic show, for little lego fans, we have Bricks for Kidz and you can’t go past our special Gfitness kids class that will have the kids moving and shaking,” he continued.
Bookings are essential and places are limited for school holiday workshops with tickets from $5 to $18 and available from Member Services.
