Celebrate the Festive Season with Mounties Group

With the countdown to Christmas already in full swing, Mounties Group has a jam packed December with plenty of fun activities for the whole family. Highlight events include Mounties' annual Christmas carnival, and Christmas Carols on the oval.
Kevin Ingram, Mounties Group President, said: “With only a few weeks until Santa arrives, we encourage locals to get involved in the Christmas activities we have available this festive season. Our annual Christmas Carol event is the perfect place for patrons to share the joyful
spirit with a great line up of acts, including our very own Jacinta Phoebe Gunawan, winner of Mounties Has Talent 2016, who will take centre stage.
“Mounties would also like to wish members and guests a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,” added Ingram.

Mounties Christmas Carols

Mounties is bringing back the Christmas jingle with this free family event to be held at the Mounties Oval on Monday, 19 December from 7.30pm. Once again Mounties has commissioned a fantastic musical line up with The Robertson Brothers returning to the stage.The Jingle Bellies will perform traditional Christmas tunes along with other talented performers including: The Frozen Girls, Christian Guerrero, Alex Pappas, Belinda Marks and Susan Jon Rose. This is a great opportunity for families to sing along to their favourite Christmas songs and spend a night under the stars with friends.

Christmas Carnival

The Mounties Group Christmas Carnival (Mounties Members only event) will feature a puppet show, rides and show bags. Santa Claus will also be making a special guest appearance during the carnival. There are two opportunities to enjoy the celebration: Saturday, 17 December and Sunday, 18 December from 10.00am until 4.00pm.

Win at Mounties

Adding to the impressive festive line-up at Mounties, patrons will have the chance to enter a multitude of raffles. Don’t miss the $10,000 Christmas Toy Raffle on Thursday, 8 December. Tickets can be purchased from 6.30pm, with the winners being announced at 7.30pm on the same night. Juicy hams and tasty turkeys are also up for grabs at the Mounties Christmas meat raffles on Sunday, 4, 11 and 18 December, with tickets on sale from 2.30pm.

Triglav Festivities

Triglav is getting ready for some festive fun with a free St Nicholas Family Fun Day on Sunday 11 December from 12.00pm. In addition to a visit from St Nicholas, there will also be a kids’ BBQ, face painting, show bags, a jumping castle and mini golf to keep the whole family entertained.
