The Junction Works is delighted to acknowledge and thank Mounties Group for their recent ClubGRANT which will fund a concert production in celebration of International Day of People with Disability.

The partnership between Mounties Group and The Junction Works will assist performance troop, the Junction All Stars, to write, develop and perform a show at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre on Wednesday,14 December 2016.

Chris Campbell, Junction Works CEO, said: “We are looking forward to hosting this special event on such a momentous day. International Day of People with Disability aims to make us more aware of how we can be more inclusive of people living with disability.

“The National Disability Insurance Scheme has come about in support of social inclusion and this is precisely what we are about at The Junction Works. Our concert is a significant opportunity for community integration, but more importantly, it’s a chance for our guys to communicate this message for themselves, through their performance,” said Campbell.

The Junction Works appreciates Mounties Group and other community partners who recognise and support the great potential of performing arts projects for people with disabilities.

The Mounties ClubGRANT provides an opportunity for 55 young men and women with a disability to build self-confidence, enhance creative and social skills, and work towards individual goals.
