Mounties Group Brings Christmas Cheer to Local Community with Carnival and Carols Events

The festive season has well and truly arrived, and Mounties Group is spreading the Christmas cheer far and wide, by hosting two more spectacular events for the local community this month.

Kicking off on Saturday, 16 December, is a two-day Christmas Carnival, taking place at Mounties from 10.00am - 4.00pm. With fun for adults and children alike, the carnival will feature carnival rides, live entertainment, a petting zoo, and the chance to meet the star of the show – Father Christmas.

Kids can expect an abundance of baubles, a tinsel-wrapped tree and glimmering colours as they make way through the Christmas Carnival enjoying unlimited rides, picking up show bags and getting up close and personal to some furry animals.

The fun doesn’t stop there as on Monday, 18 December, Mounties will continue the festivities at Mounties Oval with its Christmas Carols event, starting at 7.30pm. Special guest and hit singer, Tim Omaji (also known as Timomatic), will headline, joined by Kookies & Kreme, Nikki Bennett, Franky Valentyn, Jingle Bellies, Joe Marci Band, and a visit from Mr and Mrs Claus.

There will be toy giveaways and delectable food offerings, topped off with a mesmerising firework display – a first for Mounties at Christmas, which will be sure to get everyone excited. To take part in the Christmas Carnival frivolities, simply join Mounties Group for $6 or existing members can enter for free. Meanwhile, the carols event is open to all of the community to enjoy.

During the weekend of the Christmas Carnival, members and guests are also invited to attend the Food Truck Fest which will be located at the Mounties carpark, adjacent to the tennis courts. The Food Truck Fest will be serving a range of delicious food from The Bearded Bakers, EL’s Fried Chicken, Happy as Larry, Smokin’ Grill Barbecue, Two Hungry Italiani and Molong Farm from 4.00pm – 10.00pm (Friday and Monday), 10.00am – 10.00pm (Saturday and Sunday).
