New Restaurant Offering The Oven Launches at Mounties

15 Sep 2020

Multi-award-winning club, Mounties at Mt Pritchard will launch its new restaurant and bar, The Oven this week in a bid to create a community-centric hub of inspiring food options for its members and guests.
Mounties Group has engaged Bentons Hospitality Group - led by renowned restaurateurs Vivian Buck and Costa Bakoulis - to spearhead the changes to the new restaurant which replaces the Club's Italian inspired Casa Bistro.
Offering a contemporary club dining experience, the extensive menu provides diners with a variety of meal options, including traditional favourites such as steaks, burgers, pizza and pasta; plus a range of weekly $12 specials that are guaranteed to make The Oven an instant hit with diners over the coming months.
Chief Executive Officer of Mounties Group, Dale Hunt, believes that Mounties has one of the most varied dining offerings in the Club industry.
"The Oven joins other Mounties favourites including Bau Truong, Fresh and AK's Taste of Asia that all offer unique cuisine options and we are pleased to see The Oven cater to our members and guests who want to enjoy traditional club favourites such as schnitzel, burgers, steaks and pizzas," said Dale.
"It's not just your standard food offering though, the range is extensive, and we invest in hiring knowledgeable and innovative chefs who work hard to maintain the high standard of the meals we serve to our diners.
"Vivian Buck is the former master chef at London's Dorchester Hotel and together with Costa brings over 25 years of hospitality and consulting experience to this new restaurant," he continued.
The Oven's menu has been developed in consultation with operators and offers a mix of club favourites and modern dishes. It boasts everything from a delicious 300 gram scotch fillet, to an Italian inspired fettuccine alfredo, delicious salmon fillet or the fire cracker pizza consisting of Milano salami, roasted capsicum, jalapenos, pomodoro sauce topped with mozzarella.
Of course, the daily specials synonymous with Club venues are in place ready for opening week, with Schnitzel Tuesday's, Pizza Wednesday's, and Burger Thursday's catering to those seeking a casual night out.
Ã?¢â?¬Ã??We have been working closely with the operators to ensure that cleanliness and safety measures are prioritised to give members confidence to dine out and enjoy this new restaurant here at Mounties," added Dale.
"Considering everything that we have gone through this year, we are thrilled to showcase good news stories highlighting that the hospitality industry is emerging from the challenges of this year, stronger than ever," he concluded.
The Oven will open its doors to the public today, serving lunch and dinner seven days a week at Mounties on Level 1.
