Setting the Bar High: Triglav Launches New Sports Lounge

18 Mar 2020

Local sports fans will have a new home as of Wednesday, 23 August when Triglav, a Mounties Group club in St Johns Park, opens its new stylish and refined sports lounge.

Creating a special place for members and guests to have drinks, meet friends and watch sports together, the new Triglav Sports Lounge will  no doubt be a popular choice for visitors to the club.

Designed by Black Sheep, the area has been transformed into an intimate hub for sports enthusiasts with large plasma screen TVs, cosy individual tables and high tables that act as perches for supporters to get the best view of the action on screen. Eclectic design touches bring sophistication and luxury to Triglav, making it the perfect place for members and guests to plan their sport viewing activities with friends.

A sizeable drinks menu with quirky cocktails named after prize winning horses such as ‘Phar Lap’, ‘Black Caviar’ and ‘Makybe Diva’ can be expected. Modern bar snacks will also be sure to please with flaming chicken wings, salt & pepper squid, fries and vegetable samosas, to name a few.

The first big event members and guests can expect to see at the new Triglav Sports Lounge will be the Mayweather vs McGregor fight on Sunday, 27 August. Member only promotions on offer during the fight include the chance to win an official Mayweather vs McGregor boxing glove and $8 cocktails.  Due to the popularity of the fight between the undisputed boxing and UFC champions, there will be several areas showing the Pay Per View event around the club to cater for the expected number of guests.

Kevin Ingram, Mounties Group President said: “We are very excited to announce the opening of the new sports lounge at Triglav. This will not only add a refreshed look and feel to Trigav, but will also create a stylish space for members and guests to get together.”
