Amalgamation Update

The Mounties Group Board is very excited to announce that we are currently in negotiations with several clubs with the intent to Amalgamate. Mounties Group will remain the parent Company should any of these proposed Amalgamations be successful.

In the last 12 months, Mounties Group has received two responses from its advertisement seeking expressions of interest for amalgamation and has responded to one expression of interest advertised by Wyong RSL Club.

Mounties Group is still open to and accepting expressions of interest from its notice issued in May with an Intent to Amalgamate as the parent club for other venues. Mounties Group will remain the parent Company should any of these proposed Amalgamations be successful.

Wyong RSL Club

There were 10 clubs that initially responded to Wyong RSL's expression of Interest, with Mounties Group being identified as the preferred option by the Club Wyong RSL Board of Directors.

Mounties Group is currently in negotiations with Wyong RSL Club finalising a Memorandum of Understanding which sets out the terms of the proposed amalgamation. Should the Board of both clubs reach an agreement, members will be asked to vote on the amalgamation proposal at a special General Meeting.

West Pennant Hills Sports Club

After careful consideration by the Board of Directors, Mounties Group has identified West Pennant Hills Sports Club as a potential candidate for Amalgamation following a receipt from it of an expression of interest to amalgamate.

Mounties Group is currently in negotiations with West Pennant Hills Sports Club to draft a Memorandum of Understanding which sets out the terms of the proposed amalgamation. Should the Board of both clubs reach an agreement, members will be asked to vote on the amalgamation proposal at a special General Meeting.

Halekulani Bowling Club

After careful consideration by the Board of Directors, Mounties Group has identified Halekulani Bowling Club as a potential candidate for Amalgamation following a receipt from it of an expression of interest to amalgamate.

Mounties Group is currently in negotiations with Halekulani Bowling Club to draft a Memorandum of Understanding which sets out the terms of the proposed amalgamation. Should the Board of both clubs reach an agreement, members will be asked to vote on the amalgamation proposal at a special General Meeting.
