Mounties Care Integrative Health Clinic Opens Monday In Freshwater

Mounties Group is excited to unveil its newest and most exciting holistic health hub with the Mounties Care Integrated Health Clinic opening this Monday 8 August in Freshwater, on Sydney's Northern Beaches.

More than your traditional '7-minute medicine', the Mounties Care clinic will take a holistic health approach, with a focus on total wellbeing. Based at Harbord Diggers the new clinic combines general practitioners with complementary practitioners such as naturopaths, health coaches, nurses and nutritionists. 

Leading the team is Dr Penny Caldicott who is the President of the Australasian Integrative Medicine Association (AIMA) and founder of the Central Coast's Invitation to Health Integrative Health Clinic.

"We are very excited to be opening our newest clinic on Sydney's Northern Beaches with Mounties Care. I will be joined by a number of health professionals to allow people to experience their full range of services through integrative health medicine," explained Dr Caldicott.

"Whether you're tackling chronic pain or simply seeking greater vitality, our practitioners are ready to help you and create a nurturing environment that respects and integrates the best of evidence based conventional and complementary medicine," she continued.

The Mounties Care Integrative Health Clinic offers traditional GP services for commonly occurring health issues as well as preventative medicine. In addition, the clinic will specialise in providing additional integrative lifestyle approaches for more complex health problems. This model has demonstrated exceptional results in areas such as anxiety, depression, digestive problems, insomnia, allergies, diabetes and other chronic and inflammatory conditions.

The Freshwater Clinic has five consultation rooms as well as a dedicated IV treatment centre. The Clinic is located in the Health & Wellness precinct of the iconic Harbord Diggers, well positioned between complementary allied health services.

"What we are most excited about is our clinic's dedicated programs that we will offer our patients, depending on their symptoms and conditions. This includes our deep health program, diabetes program, metabolic transformation program and IV vitamin therapy," continued Dr Caldicott.

With a focus on improving the lives of its members, the first official Mounties Care Integrative Health Clinic is an important step for the club group, with future clinics expected to open at Guildford and Mount Pritchard, in support of the Wyoming based Invitation to Health, also now owned by Mounties Group.
